Community Telephone Company, Inc. offers many services that can offer you convenience, time savings, and greater control in the use of your telephone.  All of these services are available to Community Telephone customers for a small hook-up charge and can be ordered by calling (940) 423-6201.

CUSTOM CALLING FEATURES

Call Waiting:  Call Waiting alerts you with a special tone so that you know there is an incoming call when you are on the line.  You can put the first caller on hold and answer the second line.

Automatic Wake-Up Service:  Automatic Wake-Up Service lets you set a wake-up time in which you receive a wake-up call.

Call Forwarding:  Call Forwarding sends all your calls to another number.  Your calls can follow you when you can't be home.

Three-Way Calling: Three Way Calling allows you to add a third party to a previously established connection.

ADVANCED CALLING FEATURES

Advanced Calling Services work only on calls made within the Advanced Calling serving area.  These services are not available in all areas.
Call Return:  Call Return calls the last number that called you, even if you don't know the number of who called.

Priority Ringing:  Priority Ringing identifies important callers (or those you want to screen) with a distinctive ring.  When you receive calls from one of up to 6 selected numbers, your phone will signal you with a special ring.  You can then decide whether to answer the phone or not.

Caller ID:  Caller ID lets you see the calling party's phone number before answering a call.  A special display device located on or next to your phone is required to allow you to view the calling number.

Call Trace:  Call Trace initiates a trace of the last call you received.  The numbers from which threatening or obscene calls are made will be provided to the authorities if you wish to file a complaint.
Anonymous Call Rejection:  ACR is a service that allows a subscriber to automatically reject all calls that have been marked "anonymous" or "blocked". It is not necessary to subscribe to Caller ID to have this service.

Special Call Acceptance:  Special Call Acceptance allows you to screen incoming calls by creating a list of phone numbers from which you are willing to accept calls.  Calls from numbers not on your list are sent to an announcement that informs the caller that you are not receiving calls at this time.

Call Screening:  Call Screening rejects calls from up to six specific numbers.  The last number that called you can be added to the list to prevent them from calling you again.  Calls from numbers on the list hear a recorded message saying you are not accepting calls.  Your phone does not ring.

Total Control with PIN:  Total Control with PIN will provide the capability for a customer to dial a specific code (customer defines) that would toggle the customer's line form "Toll Restricted" to "Toll Allowed" on a per call basis.

Repeat Dialing:  Repeat Dailing calls back the last number that you called, whether you received a busy signal or need to re-contact that person.  If the line is busy, Repeat Dialing keeps trying for up to 30 minutes.  When the line is free, you are notified with a special ring..
